EXCLUSIVE GUIDE TO MAKING MONEY WITH THE "LAGOONS"

Earning money through GPT sites is fun, different and can be very easy because not too much patience is required. Most people use GPT websites for earning prizes and extra cash very quickly without having to leave their home. Although most people do not use Get Paid To websites for their main source of income there are the few that make around $300 - $1000 MONTHLY! These are the successful GPT users that have started to grow their own online empire as an online entrepreneur. This Guide will help you through the first steps to getting yourself started to earning money with GPT websites and will show you some useful tips to succeed. Keep in mind that this guide will be for mostly relating to the "lagoon" websites, although I am sure you will be able to apply what you learn in this guide to all GPT websites.

STEP ONE - CHOOSING A GPT SITE

You will need to choose a GPT website to register for and will need to enter some of your personal information into a web form in order to do so. This will be your first time using a GPT website and you will want to start off with an easy one to use. A list of the lagoons and other GPT websites can be found in the link below this text:

I will use Hosting Lagoon as an example because I want to guide you through the steps and need to use a GPT website that I am not already a member of. Although, Hosting Lagoon was not listed in the link above, it has a similar layout to all the other GPT websites and will make for a perfect example for this Guide. Once you have chosen your GPT website proceed onto Step two.

STEP TWO - SIGNING UP

Once you click on a link to a GPT Site, you will be taken to their "Home Page". It might look like one in the image below. You will want to click on a sign up link that could be anywhere at the top of the page.



After Clicking on the sign up link, you will be taken to a page that looks like this...



Enter all of your real information into the text fields (NOTE: This must be 100% real information because they need to ship the prizes to your house and need a valid address). I suggest you read the TOS (Terms of Service) before completing the page, because this will give you a heads up on what to do and what not to do. Now agree to the TOS by checking the little box, then enter the security code by typing in the numbers and letter you see in the picture. Click "Sign up" or "Submit".

You will now get a message like the one in the picture below, saying that your account has been activated. You might have to go through a small amount of advertisements before you get to this page, but most of the time it leads right to this message. You may or may not have to log into your email account and verify it, depending on which site you used.



Click on "Login" and enter your username and password into the fields on the next page. Then click "Sign In".


STEP THREE - GETTING VERIFIED

You will now see a page that looks something like this with your current points. You should have a balance of 0.00 points like in the picture below. Now, click on "Available prizes" which would be on either the left side OR the right side of the page. On Hosting Lagoon, it is on the right side.



After clicking on available prizes, you will see the prize page. You need to click on "Get Verified" which is circled in the picture below.



On the next page, type in yes where it says "Is the Address & Phone number in your profile correct?" as shown in the picture below and then click "request".



This page will now come up. (If you do not get the message displayed below and get an error, then go to your Profile and update your information. After that, restart from the beginning of step 3.)



Now click on "My Prizes" on the right or left of the page. You should see this message, saying that your account is in pending call back status. Until you complete this process and get this prize processed, you will not be able to receive any prizes. Click on the circled area shown in the picture below.

You should also see instructions at the bottom of the page. These instructions are:

Once you call you will be greeted with the information we require. You must call this number from the telephone number you provided to us in your profile.

When leaving your information we require the following in the message:

* Your prize verification number: 12345 (Example)
* Your full name, first and last
* Your full mailing address which includes the city state and zip
* Your full telephone number
* Your username

Now, choose the number which corresponds to your country and call it. You will hear an automated voice and you must now dial your site code for whichever lagoon you are using. For example, the code for Hosting Lagoon is 506. Once you hear a beep, say the information listed above IN ORDER and nothing else. (NOTE: You must speak your prize verification number and not type it with your telephone keypad) Once you have finished saying all of the real information, hang up the phone.

You will now have to wait on the "My Prizes" page until your prize looks like the image below. This can take up to 48 hours so be patient. If your prize is not verified within 48 hours, then call back and repeat the step from the last picture above this text. If your prize looks like the picture below, proceed onto step four.



STEP FOUR - COMPLETING OFFERS

Congratulations! Your account is verified and you can now start earning points and getting prizes!

Click on the "Available Offers" area in the navigation on the left or right of the page. It is the circled part in the image below.



You will now see a list of offers like in the image below.



You can set a custom search for offers. For example if you wanted to have the highest paying FREE offers show up first you would set up the search like so:

Category: Free
Order By: Point Value
Direction: descending (greatest to smallest)

Although I cannot tell you how to do a specific offer, or show you an example of completing an offer (Against TOS), all I can say is to follow the instructions below the offer to complete it. I can however, give you tips on how to complete offers.

TIP #1 You must use real information when completing offers because if you don't, then you could possibly be banned and will receive a negative amount of points in your balance.

TIP #2 Make sure that each page fully loads to ensure that you will get credit for each offer.

TIP #3 CLEAR YOUR COOKIES before starting each offer. This allows websites and advertisers to track your activity when completing offers. Without your cookies enabled, most if not all of your offers would not be credited.

Once you have completed an offer by following all of the steps in the text below the offer link, click completed on the offer.


Your offer is now submitted to be approved automatically. It will appear in the pending offers page which you can find on the navigation bar. It is circled in the picture below.



STEP FIVE - GETTING REFERRALS

There are many ways to successfully get referrals. But first, you will want to know how to get your referral link. You must click "Referrals" which is a link on the navigation bar. It is circled in the picture below.



You will be taken to a page which will have a section like this:



Here is your referral page. Here, you can find your number of referrals, referral points earned, referral hit count and your very own referral link! When somebody clicks on your referral link, it takes them to the home page of the lagoon site. When they sign up and start earning points, you will get a 20% bonus of whatever they earn.

You can post your referral link in many places such as Youtube, Myspace, Facebook, Forums etc. But, to be successful you will have to think outside the box and find an original place to go. Many people with a lot of referrals do not give away their secrets as to where they get them.

STEP SIX - ORDERING PRIZES

To get the the Prizes page, click on the "Available Prizes" link on the navigation bar. It can be seen in the photo below.



You will now be taken here (I have used the PayByOffers Prize page, to show you a glimpse of how many prizes there are to offer)



You may now click on a category that you would like a prize in and select that prize. As an example, I will custom order one PayPal dollar. I clicked on the "Paypal No Minimum" link and will enter my custom amount. You can see in the picture below.

And, here is my prize after it has been processed...




Any other "non-virtual" items will be shipped to your house and should arrive in under 14 business days.

If you would like to custom order a prize, from ebay it can only be from a "Buy it Now" Auction and you will have to add a 2 point reshipping fee on top on the regular shipping fee when ordering. You can access the custom order page from the "Available Prizes" page and it's as easy as entering a link to the product and the amount of points that are required. You can also custom order off other sites such as Amazon, Deal Extreme etc.
